HEATHEN FORAY: New Song Posted Online

March 6, 2009

Austrian "melodic pagan metal" band HEATHEN FORAY has posted a new song, "Fading Tree", on its MySpace page. The track comes off the group's full-length debut, "The Passage", which is scheduled for release on April 24 via the German label Black Bards Entertainment.

According to the band's official bio, "the musical style of HEATHEN FORAY is hard to define. Some people say they play Viking metal with strong power metal influence. Others say that they play melodic death metal with folk influences. We confess…we don't know it ourselves. But one thing is sure: The style of HEATHEN FORAY lies somewhere between those extremes!"

HEATHEN FORAY received fan acclaim after providing support for ENSIFERUM, MOONSORROW, ELUVEITIE, TYR and KORPIKLAANI on their Paganfest tour last year.

HEATHEN FORAY is:

Robert Schroll - Vocals
Jürgen Brüder - Guitars
Bernd Zahn - Guitars
Markus Wildinger - Bass
C. Michael Hofbauer - Drums
